Pro Football Hall of Famer Alan Page gave commencement speech at University of Minnesota Law School on May 16. Judge Page is retiring this summer due to mandatory retirement age of 70  from Minnesota State Supreme Court…Ravens Coach John Harbaugh is now ‘Dr. John Harbaugh’ after giving the keynote address today (May 21) at Stevenson University commencement exercises in Owings Mills, Md. Harbaugh received an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters which is the university’s highest honor…Two-time Heisman Trophy winner (and Bengals RB) Archie Griffin was the Spring Commencement Keynote Speaker before 10,000 Ohio State grads and their families on May 10. Griffin earned his degree in 1976. “My own graduation was the most exciting moment for me,” he recalls. “My purpose in going to OSU was to graduate. Football meant a lot, but it was the vehicle I used to get the education I wanted. I’ll always be appreciative of the game because of that.”… 12­-year QB Charlie Batch delivered the commencement speech last month at his alma mater—Eastern Michigan University. Charlie, who graduated in 1997, also received an Honorary Doctor of Public Service degree after his commencement address… Pro Football Hall of Fame LB Harry Carson served as convocation speaker on May 17 for the NYU School of Professional Studies graduation ceremony. On May 19, Harry also delivered the commencement address and received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
