NFL Retired Player News September 2013

Dear Retired Player:

We hope you are looking forward to the opening of the 94th regular season this Thursday night, September 5, as much we are in the League office.

The Denver Broncos host the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens that night starting at 8:30 ET on NBC-TV. (Traditionally, the season would open at the home of the defending NFL champion but there was a conflict with a Baltimore Orioles game that same day that could not be resolved. The two teams share the same parking facilities.)

As other clubs open their home schedules during September, many teams are having alumni celebrations and we have listed those events below. (The Alumni Coordinator’s email address also is listed below the team name in the left hand corner.) We will alert you to Alumni Weekends scheduled for October, November and December in future newsletters.

We also will keep you updated during the next few months on the status of the Dryer vs. NFL settlement as well as last Thursday’s $765 million settlement in the concussion lawsuits.

If you have any questions or comments regarding any of the below information, please contact us.

Regards,

Joe Browne
