FORMER 10 YEAR ALL-PRO JAGUAR DONOVIN DARIUS
TO HOST FREE LIFE CAMP FOR 100 ASTHMATIC FAMILIES
JACKSONVILLE, FLA (September, 2013) – TheDonovin Darius Foundation along with THE PLAYERS Center for Children at Wolfson’s Hospital and the Jaguars NFL Play 60 will host a Life Camp for 100 Asthmatic Families entitled “"The Wonderful Breath of Life Camp. This Life Camp will take place at EverBank Field on Saturday October 19, 2013 from 9am to 1 pm. Focused on teaching family members how to successfully manage the condition of asthma while taking their lives to the Next Level.
The Life Camp for Asthmatic Families will provide support and resources from Donovin Darius and several other subject experts. They will share pertinent knowledge and instructions on how to live a fulfilled life despite their asthmatic conditions.
“Growing up in a family with a child that manages asthma can create a very anxious and unpredictable environment. Being educated about this condition becomes the responsibility and focus of the whole entire family. This Life C.A.M.P gives families the information and encouragement they desire to fulfill their life and take it the Next Level. Whether severe or mild, those dealing with asthma and their families will experience the time of their lives in this (4) hour event filled with education, laughter, fun, games and much more.“ Donovin Darius
The Donovin Darius Life Skills C.A.M.P model combines Character, Action, Motivation and Purpose. 100 families will enjoy the best Life C.A.M.P. Experience ever. As part of a fun-filled day packed with information, education, application, physical fitness and motivation, participants will all receive a stadium tour, C.A.M.P. t-shirt, break into (5) large groups where they will participate in age and group specific messages, skits by their parents and on field races and tug of war competitions. Cameras and video devices are welcomed, as there will be ample photo and interview opportunities. Participants have signed waivers and agreed to be interviewed about their experiences.
