Additional Free Cardio & Prostate Screenings For Retirees

The NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF), the independent organization dedicated to assisting retired players improve their quality of life, has added two more  sites – Palo Alto, California and Kansas City, Missouri – later this year for your free cardiovascular and prostate screenings.

The next set of screenings will be in Canton, Ohio on August 3-4 during Hall of Fame festivities. All retired NFL players are welcome. There also will be a presentation entitled “Post-NFL Brain Health: What You Need To Know” at 11 AM on Saturday morning, August 4 in Canton. The current list of 2012 screening sites follows: 

•August 3-4: Canton, OH (Hall of Fame weekend) – McKinley Grand Hotel

•September 22: Nashville, TN – Vanderbilt University

•October 27: Seattle, WA – Seattle Seahawks Virginia Mason Training Center

•October 28: Palo Alto, CA – Stanford University

•November 10: Charlotte, NC

•December 1: Kansas City, MO

•Super Bowl XLVII, February 2013: New Orleans, LA

•TBD: Pittsburgh, PA and Atlanta, GA
