The Tennessee Titans Women’s Association has participated in many community events over the years. This year they opened up their practice facility and hosted the organization’s first Football 101 and raised $11,000 for the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition. Tina Tuggle, Director of Player Engagement for the Titans, stated “The Tennessee Titans Women’s Association wanted to do something in the community to be an active participant and give back to the Nashville community. The ladies chose breast cancer awareness because all of us have been touched by that.”
125 ladies attended this event as well as Titans coaches, cheerleaders, and other staff members. Current players Michael Griffin, Scott Solomon, Lavelle Hawkins, Eugene Amano, Gerald McRath, Javon Ringer, Collin Mooney, Chris DeGeare, and former Titans punter Craig Hentrich and receiver Roydell Williams also came out to support the event by teaching football fundamentals and assisting the ladies as they participated in football drills and a scrimmage.
