One of Atlanta's Favorite Sports Stars Ovie Mughelli Joins CBS Radio Atlanta

FORMER NFL PRO BOWLER NEW SPORTS ANALYST

ATLANTA, GA – (October 26, 2012) – Former NFL Pro Bowl fullback Ovie Mughelli has joined CBS Sports Radio 92.9 the Game (WZGC-FM) and will serve as a sports analyst on the network’s new weekend shows.  Mughelli joins College Football Now with co-host Bob Neal each Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm eastern as well as Pro Football Today with co-hosts Bob Neal and Len Pasquarelli each Sunday from 10:00am-1:00pm eastern.  Mughelli begins this Saturday, October 27. 

“I’m excited to begin this new venture, sharing my opinions and personality off the field on a sport that I have loved for so many years,” says Mughelli.  “I still have teammates, and film to study, just like old times!  I’m looking forward to the opportunity.”

Ovie Mughelli played 9 years in the NFL as a starting Pro Bowl fullback for the Atlanta Falcons and the Baltimore Ravens.  Ovie was among the biggest fullbacks to play the game, known for being a power blocker, for being able to pick up blitzes, and one of the best special team minds in the game.  Ovie had a breakout 2009 season, as the coveted blocker for Michael Turner.
